IACC Initiatives

As the new Board took over in January 2023, we started the year with a plan of action which would result in maximum outreach and involvement of the alumni body in Canada. From in person to virtual events, IACC forged ahead towards it mission with enthusiasm and excitement, looking forward to a great year ahead.

IACC in collaboration with NUSTIAN, FAST and IBA DUBAI CHAPTER

organised a virtual session on opportunities for new and aspiring immigrants to learn about the free of cost Government Funded Programs. The session was extremely informative and the presenters shared resources available for Internationally Trained Immigrants to enable them to assimilate into the Canadian workforce with the help of Government funded programs

ALUMMENTOR

Currently the strength of the IACC community is approximately 500 members. The AlumMentor program will tap into this talented, professional resource and connect fresh graduates, young professionals and newcomers with seasoned professionals who have similar academic backgrounds, expertise, experience and career interests

The program will

  • Provide mentees with access to the knowledge and networks of their mentors
  • Create networking opportunities
  • Provide mentors with the opportunity to help to shape the next generation
